Regular Membership
Regular Membership
Granted by the association for significant contributions, whether financial or moral, to help achieve its goals. Regular members can attend general assembly meetings, discuss issues, and engage with the association’s achievements and activities. However, they cannot vote or run for the Board of Directors.
Rights
- Attend and vote in the general assembly.
- Receive regular updates on the association’s activities.
- Review records and financial documents at the association’s premises.
- Call for extraordinary general assembly meetings with the support of 25% of eligible members.
- Delegate a representative to attend meetings under specified conditions.
Duties
- Pay an annual membership fee of 2,000 SAR.
- Cooperate with the association to achieve its goals.
- Avoid actions that could harm the association.
- Comply with the general assembly’s decisions.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum age: 30 years.
- Full legal capacity.
- Saudi nationality.
- Good conduct with no legal offenses.
- Two years as a professional member.
- Payment of membership fees.
- Submission of a membership application.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualifications.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the field.
- Approval from the Board of Directors.
- Submission of a portfolio detailing contributions and achievements in the professional sector.
Professional Membership
Professional Membership
Available to those fully dedicated to the music profession and approved by the Music Association.
Duties
- Pay an annual membership fee of 3,500 SAR.
- Collaborate with the association to achieve its goals.
- Avoid actions that could harm the association.
- Adhere to the decisions of the general assembly and the Board of Directors.
- Submit a profile as per the association’s template.
- Minimum age: 18 years.
Rights
- Participation in the association’s activities and events.
- Regular updates on activities as determined by the association.
- Communication with the association through legally recognized channels in Saudi Arabia, with responses provided via the same medium.
- Support and facilitation with relevant entities.
- Saudi professional members can switch to regular membership after paying its fee and meeting all requirements, subject to approval by the association and the Board of Directors.
- Access to all services provided by the Music Association locally and internationally.
- Expert advice, guidance, and mentorship offered by a specialized committee.
- Discounts on programs, activities, and publications made available by the association.
- Opportunities to participate in professional development programs.
- Encouragement and support for members’ genuine initiatives.
- Priority in utilizing skills and expertise based on project or initiative requirements.
- Opportunities to network with specialists, potentially opening doors to career advancement and job opportunities.
Practitioner Membership
Practitioner Membership
Granted to those skilled in the music profession but not fully dedicated to it, upon approval by the Music Association.
Duties
- Pay an annual membership fee of 2,500 SAR.
- Collaborate with the association to achieve its goals.
- Avoid actions that could harm the association.
- Adhere to the decisions of the general assembly and the Board of Directors.
- Submit a profile as per the association’s template.
- Minimum age: 18 years.
Rights
- Eligibility for nomination to participate in the association’s activities and events, provided suitable conditions are met.
- Regular updates on activities as determined by the association.
- Communication with the association through legally recognized channels in Saudi Arabia, with responses provided through the same medium.
- Support and facilitation with relevant entities.
- Practitioner members cannot switch to regular membership unless upgraded to professional membership for two years, approved by the Board of Directors, and meeting all requirements, including at least five years of field experience and payment of membership fees.
- Access to all services provided by the Music Association locally and internationally.
- Expert advice, guidance, and mentorship offered by a specialized committee.
- Discounts on programs, activities, and publications made available by the association.
- Opportunities to participate in professional development programs.
- Encouragement and support for members’ genuine initiatives.
- Utilization of skills and expertise based on project or initiative requirements.
Amateur Membership
Amateur Membership
For individuals interested in learning and improving their musical skills, upon approval by the Music Association.
Duties
- Pay an annual membership fee of 375 SAR.
- Collaborate with the association to achieve its goals.
- Avoid actions that could harm the association.
- Adhere to the decisions of the general assembly and the Board of Directors.
- Submit a profile as per the association’s template.
- Minimum age: 7 years.
Rights
- Eligibility for nomination to participate in the association’s activities and events, provided suitable conditions are met.
- Regular updates on activities as determined by the association.
- Communication with the association through legally recognized channels in Saudi Arabia, with responses provided via the same medium.
- Support and facilitation with relevant entities.
- Hobbyist members cannot transition to regular membership unless upgraded to professional membership for two years, approved by the Board of Directors, and meeting all requirements, including at least eight years of experience in the field and payment of all membership fees.
- Access to all services provided by the Music Association locally and internationally.
- Expert advice, guidance, and mentorship offered by a specialized committee.
- Discounts on programs, activities, and publications offered by the association.
- Opportunities to participate in professional development programs.
Corporate Membership
Corporate Membership
For companies and institutions directly or indirectly involved in the professional music sector, upon approval by the Music Association.
Duties
- Pay an annual membership fee of 40,000 SAR.
- Collaborate with the association to achieve its goals.
- Avoid actions that could harm the association.
- Adhere to the decisions of the general assembly and the Board of Directors.
- Submit a corporate profile and official permits.
Rights
- Participation in the association’s events and activities.
- Regular updates on activities as determined by the association.
- Communication with the association through legally recognized channels in Saudi Arabia, with responses provided via the same medium.
- Facilitation and support with relevant entities.
- Supporting members may apply for upgraded membership after fulfilling all requirements, renewing their supporting membership, and obtaining Board approval.
- Access to all services provided by the Music Association locally and internationally.
